Rainforest trees line the river, ferns and mosses flourish on the banks and the rivers bounce along over smooth pebbles and sandy bottoms. To ensure we provide the best Cairns tubing tour in town, we amalgamated two tubing companies under one banner. We have three rivers to choose from each day, the Mulgrave River, Little Mulgrave River and Behana Gorge – all are gorgeous and we’ll pick the best one, to maximise the fun, given the water flow on your day of tubing.

RAINFOREST RIVERS

We have three rainforest fringed rivers and creeks to choose from for our Cairns tubing tours. All have stunning surrounds and small, fun rapids. We’ll pick the best one on the day, to maximise the fun. Approx 1.5 hours of tubing.

Just like being on a theme park ride, but in nature. Float over a combination of small & fast white water rapids on our professional twin chamber tubes. The water isn’t deep and the current isn’t strong, this is all about the fun.

Our Cairns tubing tours are a fun, safe water activity letting everyone have adventures in nature. The minimum age to participate is 5 years old and our oldest guest to date was 84. See you on the river!

Rainforest River Tubing Rates and Information

Rainforest river tubing tours are suitable for most people over 5 years, no previous experience or swimming ability is required. Anyone under 18 years of age must travel with a responsible guardian or adult. Rafting Guides can deliver basic instructions in Mandarin and Japanese. If you’re concerned about your ability to participate, please contact our office.

Our rainforest river tubing tours are fully supervised, with a minimum of two River Guides on the water at all times. Our guides participate in regular ongoing river rescue and First Aid training, which ensures high safety standards on every tour. All equipment and instruction is provided. No previous tubing experience necessary.

The tour will be conducted at any one of these rainforest rivers – Behana Gorge, Mulgrave River or Little Mulgrave River – pending water levels and conditions on the day of travel. Every participant must sign a Liability Release Form prior to commencing Tubing. Passengers under the age of 18 years must have a parent or guardian sign on their behalf. Some medical conditions, disabilities or impairments may exclude participants from tubing for safety reasons. Tubing is not suitable for anyone who may be pregnant. Passengers should disclose any conditions at time of booking. No alcohol permitted on any tour. This is a half day tour with pick-ups from Cairns and the Beaches. All equipment is included as is a small snack. Travel is on a comfortable air-conditioned coach.

  • What To Bring
    A smile on your dial and a sense of adventure. Please wear your swimming costume under your clothes and bring a towel and a spare change of clothes. Please leave all of your jewellery at your accommodation.
  • Don't Forget
    To wear secure shoes. Footwear with a heel strap must be worn and hire shoes are available, if you don't want to get your shoes wet.
  • Valuables
    Valuables should be left at your accommodation. The following items can be left on the bus - dry clothes, daily medication, ticket / voucher, wallets, jewellery and watches.
