Cape Tribulation is part of the Daintree National Park within the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area. This is the place you have heard about, where the rainforest meets the reef. A pocket of paradise largely untouched by time and home to just a lucky few. Cape Tribulation is a community, a beach and a region you can visit on a day tour or stay longer to explore. This remote, off grid destination is home to plants and animals found nowhere else on Earth. A place to connect with nature and settle into the rhythm of rainforest and ocean tides.
Where Is Cape Tribulation? – Cape Tribulation is in the northern section of the Daintree National Park. If you’re coming from Cairns or Port Douglas, you will cross the Daintree River by ferry, then continue northwards. Cape Tribulation is 140km from Cairns and 84km from Port Douglas.
