We kick things off with a complimentary beer, wine or softdrink and then you can sit back and relax, as your guide and captain takes you on an exploratory cruise along the waterfront and into Trinity Inlet. The calm, protected waters and our pontoon-style boats ensure a comfortable ride, as you glide beyond the marina and into the mangrove-lined tributaries of the inlet. There’s a stillness here, a tranquillity that provides a deep sense of relaxation. As the sun commences its descent behind the rainforest mountains that encircle this tropical port city, the sky lights up and the city waterfront starts to twinkle, creating a perfect canvas for photos.

Trinity Inlet offers a lesser seen side of Cairns. Its mangroves provide important habitat for reef fish and saltwater crocodiles, it’s only a few minutes from Cairns but a world away. During your guided Cairns sunset boat cruise your captain will explain some of the history of the inlet and the importance of the mangroves, to the Great Barrier Reef.

Cairns Sunset Cruise Rates and Information
Our Cairns sunset cruise is suitable for most people, of all ages. Maximum of 14 passengers per departure. Anyone under 18 years of age must travel with a responsible guardian or adult. All of our sunset boat tours are fully supervised by our captains, who are trained and licensed. Safety briefings are provided and there is a toilet on board for passenger comfort. This is a 90 minute tour, which starts and ends at Cairns’ Marlin Marina. If you’re concerned about your ability to participate, please contact our office.
