RAFTING GUIDE TRAINING COURSES

Seeking adventurous people wanting to work in the white-water industry. No previous experience is required. We provide 6-week training courses, with guaranteed employment upon successful completion of the course. Spaces are limited: courses are offered periodically.

This presents applicants with a unique opportunity to enter the growing adventure tourism industry. The training course is conducted by a Certified Swift Water Rescue Technician. It includes: Raft Handling, Water Hydrology, Basic Rope Rescues, Advanced Rescue Techniques, Knot Applications, Swift Water Swimming, Standard Operating Procedures and much more.

Upon successful completion of the course, you’ll be encouraged to further your role with our company, to include River Tubing, Packrafting and Tour Guiding in the World Heritage listed Wet Tropics. We are a fun and exciting company that’s locally owned and respects and cares about employees, with an ethos of training and development.

Applicants must be 18 years or over. Level 2 White Water Guides are encouraged to apply. Holding a current Light Rigid Qld Driver License and Queensland Drivers Authority will be highly regarded.
