Overnight Daintree / Cape Tribulation Great Barrier Reef Tour

Overview

Our overnight Daintree Rainforest and Great Barrier Reef adventure takes you deep into remote wilderness areas for an amazing, engaging experience. Cruise the Daintree River and soar through the canopy on a zipline Treetops Adventure. Spend the night in the Cape Tribulation section of the Daintree, before continuing your adventure the next day with a sensational half day Great Barrier Reef tour with Ocean Safari. We then collect you to continue your adventure to Mossman Gorge where you’ll connect with Traditional Owners and enjoy swimming in the gorge.

Check-In

Check-in is mandatory for all guests (1x per person) and must be completed prior to the activity.

Pick-Up Information

DAY 1:

  • Self Drive to our Depot: 7:00am – Meet at 36 O’Keefe St. Free street parking.
  • Cairns City: 7:30am – 8:00am
  • Northern Beaches: 8:30am – 8:45am
  • Port Douglas: 9:45am – 10:15am

DAY 2:

  • 1:15pm pick-up from Turtle Rock Cafe (Cape Tribulation)*

*Pick up is after morning Great Barrier Reef Tour. Lunch on this day is at own expense.

What to Bring

A Small Day/Overnight Bag with the following items.
Please note there is no luggage storage on the bus.

  • Eco-Friendly Sunscreen
  • Water Bottle
  • Towel
  • Change of Clothes
    • Warm clothing encouraged between May – Nov
  • Hat
  • Swimmers
  • Camera (waterproof case recommended if taking it on the reef tour)
  • Enclosed shoes (mandatory for ziplining)
  • Small day bag (to take on the Reef Tour)
  • Money for additional drinks and snacks, including dinner on day 1 and breakfast and lunch on day 2.

What to Wear

  • Light, sun-protective clothing (we discourage wearing denims or clothes made from other heavy materials).
  • Bathers / Swimsuit (for snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef and optional swimming at Mossman Gorge).
  • Comfortable walking shoes are also recommended. Access to Mossman Gorge is along a 400m (each way) sealed rainforest track.

Please note:

Ziplining: We do not recommend crop-tops, shorts and skirts that can ride up when worn with the harness. Enclosed shoes must be worn. Long hair must be tied back.

Important Notes

  • Adults Only. This experience is designed for adults. Minimum age is 18 years old.
  • Meals. Day 1 lunch* included – All other meals own cost / arrangement, being Day 1 dinner and Day 2 breakfast and lunch.
    • *Allergies. Dietary requirements are available on request and should be advised in advance.
  • Treetops Adventure Zipline. The maximum weight for individual guests to participate 120kg, with a minimum reach height of 120cm.
  • Ocean Safari Reef Tour. Need to know your swimming ability. Please note an Ocean Safari waiver will be emailed prior to travel.
  • Ice-Cream/Coffee purchases can be made (own expense) from the Daintree Ice Cream Co.
