Companion Cards

Companion Cards are accepted on all tours and products. When guests bring a second carer, they receive a 50% discount.

Wheelchair Guests

Guests can participate if:

  • Their wheelchair is foldable and fits in the bus boot.
  • They can walk a few assisted steps from the bus to the river (terrain and distance may vary).
  • They can board and disembark the bus with assistance.
  • They have enough upper body strength to hold onto handles or ropes.

Vision Impared

Guests should have sufficient vision to spot river hazards and catch a rope if needed (in case of falling out of the raft). Glasses are allowed, and optional glasses straps, ideal for sunglasses, can be purchased before the activity.

Hearing Impared

Guests need to be able to hear verbal instructions from our guides during the tour. If needed, seating closer to the guide can be arranged to help with hearing.

Limited Mobility

Moderate to high fitness level needed. Guests will paddle for around 2.5 to 3 hours on the river and help carry the raft after the tour. Swimming skills are required, and lifejackets are provided and must be worn throughout the adventure.

Before you hit the water, here are a few key commands your guide will use. Don’t worry, you’ll have plenty of time to practice before and during your adventure!
Paddling Basics
  • Forward Paddle – paddle forward
  • Back Paddle – paddle backward
  • Stop – stop paddling
HOLD ON: You’ll hear this one often, usually on smaller rapids or rough water.
  • One hand on the rope outside the raft
  • One hand on the paddle’s T-grip
  • Lean your body into the boat
GET DOWN: Used on bigger rapids.
  • Squat in the boat
  • One hand holds the paddle upright (T-grip on the floor)
  • Other hand holds the rope
BACK ON THE JOB: Called after “Get Down” — time to return to your seating positions
.
OVER LEFT / OVER RIGHT: Used to shift weight in the raft.
  • “Over right” = left side moves to the right
  • “Over left” = right side moves to the left

Intellectual Disability

We welcome guests with a range of abilities and encourage everyone to review the tour information before booking. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all, please consider:

  • Can the guest respond to verbal instructions promptly?
  • Are they able to follow safety guidelines if they were to fall in the water?
  • Could their participation impact the safety of others?
  • Could falling into the water (can vary in temperature) cause any distress?

If you have any questions or need support, please reach out, we’re here to help make the adventure accessible and fun for everyone!

Pregnancy

Other Medical Conditions

If you have a medical condition that might affect your ability to join the tour, we encourage you to get in touch with us before booking. Many guests with conditions like arthritis, diabetes, cancer, depression, or allergies can participate depending on their individual situation. For conditions such as severe asthma, neurological disorders, chest issues, epilepsy, heart disease, breathlessness, or ear infections, it’s best to check with your doctor first. Before booking, consider:

  • Could falling into the water or cold temperatures affect your condition?
  • Might contact with river hazards cause problems?
  • And how likely is your condition to be impacted during the trip?

We’re here to help you have a safe and enjoyable adventure!

Other Physical Conditions

If you have a physical condition, like a broken bone, that might affect your ability to join the tour, we encourage you to reach out to us before booking. Our tube and raft adventures take place on waterways with rocks and natural obstacles, so it’s important to be prepared. We recommend reading all the tour details and getting in touch with our friendly team to chat through any questions before you reserve your spot. We’re here to help ensure your experience is safe, fun, and unforgettable!

Our Depot

Our depot is located at ground level with wide roller door entrances for easy access and wheelchair-accessible toilets. The upper floor (housing offices and a boardroom) is stair-access only—if you’re visiting, just let us know in advance if you may need additional support during your visit.

We’re proud to welcome guests of all abilities and are more than happy to talk through your specific needs before your visit. Whether you’d like to better understand the layout or would benefit from extra support on the day, our team is here to help ensure your experience is smooth, safe, and inclusive.

Support guests, carers, and assistance animals are always welcome at our depot.

If there’s anything you’d like us to prepare in advance to support your visit, just get in touch—we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.
