Drift through paradise on a Cairns Tubing Tour! Picture lush rainforest, a canopy of towering trees and crystal-clear waters gently cascading around you. Our tours take you through some of the most beautiful rainforest rivers near Cairns for a truly refreshing adventure.

Morning Tubing Tours

  • Self Drive to our Depot: 7:30am – Meet at 36 O’Keefe St. Free Street parking.
  • Northern Beaches: 6:45am – 7:10am
  • Cairns City: 7:20am – 8:00am
  • Edmonton/Gordonvale: 8:15am – 8:25am

Afternoon Tubing Tours

  • Self Drive to our Depot: 1:45pm – Meet at 36 O’Keefe St. Free Street parking.
  • Cairns City: 1:35pm – 2:15pm
  • Edmonton/Gordonvale: 2:30pm – 2:40pm

What to Bring

  • A towel
  • Change of clothes
  • Secure shoes
  • Cash / Credit Card / A Payment Method – If you have booked via a Travel Agent or Online, you may have a $15pp River Levy to pay on the day. This can be done with cash or card (1.5% surcharge applies), payable on the bus. You will also need some form of payment if you wish to use our shoe hire, or purchase sunglasses straps and/or photo memories.

What to Wear

  • Light, sun-protective clothing (denims or heavy materials discouraged).
  • Bathers with a rash vest are recommended.
  • Secure footwear*.

*Any shoe with a back strap or that wraps around the heel. Examples include crocs (in sports mode), sandals (with a back strap), old runners and reef shoes. If you do not have suitable shoes, they can be hired from us for $5.00 per pair. This can be arranged in advance by calling our Office, or on the day with our Guides. This is in addition to the tour cost.

Important Notes

  • If you’ve booked via a travel agent or online, you may have a $15 per person River Levy to pay on the day. This can be settled in advance by calling our office, or with cash or card on the bus (please note a 1.5% surcharge applies to card payments).
  • Secure footwear is required. If needed, shoes can be hired for $5 per pair by calling our office in advance or directly from our guides on the day.
  • If you wear glasses or sunglasses, we strongly recommend using straps. These can be purchased for $5 each through our office or with our guides.
  • All guests must be over 5 years old.
  • Expectant mothers are not permitted to participate.
  • Please disclose any medical conditions prior to travel. If you’re unsure about your ability to participate, we recommend consulting with a medical practitioner. Medical details must be noted on your pre-arrival check-in form.
  • Personal belongings will be securely stored on the bus, which will meet you at the bottom of the river post-tour.

FAQ's and Contact Us

  • Can I take a GoPro or Camera River Tubing?

    Yes! GoPro’s and cameras are permitted, however, they are taken at your own risk. If taking a device, we recommend ensuring it is waterproof and having it strapped or connected to your body.

  • What safety equipment is provided?

    Life jackets and helmets are provided and checked by our Guides before the activity. Shoes and glasses straps can be hired or purchased.
