Silverswift Outer Reef Dive and Snorkel

Join the Silverswift Cruise & Snorkel for an active day exploring the Great Barrier Reef from Cairns. Dive or snorkel at three remote and ecologically diverse sites, selected daily to match the conditions, and enjoy a comfortable journey aboard the Silverswift vessel.

Your adventure starts with check-in at 7:30 AM at the Reef Fleet terminal, followed by boarding at 8:15 AM where you are served complimentary morning tea. The Silverswift departs Cairns at 8:30 AM, heading to the Outer Reef while certified and introductory divers attend briefings.

By 9:50 AM, you arrive at the first reef location for snorkelling and diving. The vessel then travels to a second reef at 11:15 AM, offering further opportunities for both certified and introductory divers, as well as a snorkellers' site briefing. A tropical hot and cold buffet lunch is served at 12:30 PM in the air-conditioned cabin.

In the afternoon, depart for the third reef location at 1:40 PM for more snorkelling and a guided snorkel tour. Afternoon tea is served at 2:15 PM. After a full day on the reef, the Silverswift returns to Cairns, arriving at 4:30 PM, followed by coach transfers at 4:55 PM.

Diving is an optional add on, you can pick from intro dives and a variety of certified dives.
