Companion Cards
Wheelchair Guests
Can participate if the guest can ‘get in’ to the Jet Boat (assisted) and has the upper body strength to ‘brace’ correctly during a spin.
Vision Impared
Guests should be able to see the skipper’s hand signals during the tour. Glasses are welcome, and optional glasses straps (perfect for sunglasses) can be purchased before the adventure.
Hearing Impared
Guests of all hearing levels are welcome! For those with low hearing, we recommend bringing a companion or carer to ensure the best experience possible.
Limited Mobility
Low Fitness Level Required. This tour features fun spins where guests will need to ‘brace’ by holding onto a bar and, if possible, pushing with their feet against a bar or seat in front.
Intellectual Disability
We welcome guests with a range of intellectual abilities and encourage everyone to review the tour details before booking. If you have questions or need to discuss specific needs, feel free to reach out to our team. Before booking, please consider:
- Can the guest respond to visual instructions and act quickly?
- Could the guest’s participation affect the safety of others on the boat?
- Is the guest able to assume the required ‘brace’ position during the tour?
Pregnancy
Not permitted
Other Medical Conditions
If you have a medical condition that might affect your ability to join the tour, we encourage you to reach out before booking. Many guests with conditions like arthritis, diabetes, cancer, depression, allergies, and asthma can participate—depending on their individual situation. For guests with brain, spinal, or nervous disorders, recent surgeries, chest issues, epilepsy, heart disease, breathlessness, or ear infections, it’s best to check with your GP first. Before booking, consider:
- Could the boat’s spinning motion affect your condition?
- Would the required ‘brace position’ cause discomfort or issues?
- What’s the chance your condition might be impacted by this adventure?
Other Physical Conditions
If you have a physical condition, like a broken bone, that might affect your ability to take part in this tour, we encourage you to get in touch with us before booking. This adventure features several spins, where you’ll need to hold the ‘brace position’ multiple times throughout the ride. We recommend reading all the tour details and reaching out to our friendly team to chat about any questions or concerns before you book.
Our Depot
Our depot is located at ground level with wide roller door entrances for easy access and wheelchair-accessible toilets. The upper floor (housing offices and a boardroom) is stair-access only—if you’re visiting, just let us know in advance if you may need additional support during your visit.
We’re proud to welcome guests of all abilities and are more than happy to talk through your specific needs before your visit. Whether you’d like to better understand the layout or would benefit from extra support on the day, our team is here to help ensure your experience is smooth, safe, and inclusive.
Support guests, carers, and assistance animals are always welcome at our depot.
If there’s anything you’d like us to prepare in advance to support your visit, just get in touch—we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.
