Half Day Green Island Discovery Tour with Diving

Enjoy a half-day introductory scuba diving adventure on Green Island, a 6000-year-old coral cay in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, departing from Cairns. Travel on the Great Adventures fast catamaran for a 45-minute journey to this renowned location, where reef and rainforest blend beautifully.

Upon reaching Green Island, you can collect snorkelling equipment from the Dive Shop, or join your scheduled introductory dive. Choose to swim, snorkel from the lifeguard-patrolled beach, or simply unwind on the island's coral sand beaches surrounded by vibrant marine life and lush rainforest.

Take advantage of activities at your own pace, including glass bottom boat tours (book onboard), a self-guided Eco Island Walk, and optional extras like Seawalker helmet diving. Visit Marineland Melanesia Crocodile Habitat with its daily crocodile shows for something unique.

Check in at the Great Adventures Reservations Counter inside the Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal at either 8:00 AM or 10:00 AM to receive your boarding pass and complimentary tea and coffee until you depart at 8:30 AM or 10:30 AM. Arrive at Green Island by 9:15 AM or 11:15 AM, with return options at 2:30 PM or 4:30 PM, arriving back at Cairns at 3:20 PM or 5:20 PM. Food and drinks are available for purchase on the island.
