Enjoy a full day Green Island Eco Adventure with Seawalker, departing from Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal aboard Great Adventures' fast catamaran. Located within the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, Green Island is a 6000-year-old coral cay surrounded by vibrant marine life and a unique rainforest environment.
You'll travel to Green Island in just 45 minutes, with departures at 8:30 AM or 10:30 AM. On the way, catch a snorkelling demonstration and Eco presentation. On arrival, collect your snorkelling gear from the island Dive Shop and explore the lifeguard-patrolled beach or swimming pool. Optional activities include joining a snorkel excursion, scuba diving, parasailing, or walking underwater with Seawalker helmet diving.
Experience the coral reef from above on a glass bottom boat tour, or stroll through the island's rainforest along self-guided eco trails. For wildlife enthusiasts, Marineland Melanesia Crocodile Habitat offers daily crocodile shows. Lunch and refreshments are available for purchase from on-island outlets and restaurants.
Return at 4:30 PM to Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal, making this a flexible adventure in one of Australia's most spectacular natural environments.
