A full day to explore Queensland's stunning Green Island and the Outer Great Barrier Reef with Great Adventures. Your adventure starts from Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal with a 45-minute catamaran ride to the ancient coral cay, Green Island, set inside the world-famous Great Barrier Reef Marine Park.
Spend two hours on Green Island, where you can snorkel straight off the beach, take a rainforest walk, relax on white coral sands, or use the swimming pool. Snorkel gear is available on the island, and optional pre-booked activities such as scuba diving and Seawalker helmet diving can be enjoyed depending on time.
Board the vessel again at 11:20 AM for your journey to the Outer Great Barrier Reef activity platform. During your 3-hour stay, access the underwater observatory, join a semi-submarine coral viewing tour, and snorkel directly from the platform. Marine expert talks and fish feeding sessions are also part of the schedule.
A delicious buffet lunch is served from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM, and complimentary beverages are provided throughout the day. The day concludes with a return to Cairns at 5:30 PM, including cheese and biscuits on the journey home.
