Here’s the things you need to know before you go Barron River Rafting!

• No experience necessary – our Guides have got you covered
• A waiver is required from all participant’s pre-travel. Click this link to fill in in yours, remembering to select your date of travel correctly in the form: [HERE]
• A $30.00 per person levy is payable for all reservations. This can be paid on the day, or in advance by phoning Cairns Adventure Group on 4042 7300
• Rafting is not suitable for guests with certain medical conditions/ conditions (epilepsy/ pregnancy), or if you are under the influence of drugs and/ or alcohol
• Minimum Age is 12 years
• Rapids are grade 2-3. For more about White Water Grading, click [HERE]:
• We’ll pick you up at your designated pick-up location. If you need to advise or check your pick-up, please contact us [HERE]
• You will be on the river for up to 2 hrs.
• We recommend wearing your bathers under your clothes & come dressed ready for rafting
• ‘secure’ shoes (shoes with a backstrap OR enclosed heel) must be worn or hired on the day for an additional $5.00pp.
• Bring a towel, change of clothes, spare shoes and eco-friendly sunscreen
• Photos are available for purchase on the day for $59. [HERE]
